"Jason's so cute!"

One Sunday morning, while getting the boys dressed for church, I exclaimed "Jason's so cute!" And the phrase kinda stuck. Jack was so tickled by it, probably by my enthusiasm, that he now exclaims "Jason's so cute!" for any situation in which Jason is doing something adorable....which like the pictures show below, is quite often...

Jack copying his baby brother and loving the attention- note in the picture above you can spy Jack in the background eagerly awaiting his turn in the basket.

Jace doing one of his favorite activities- dribbling! He dribbles each of his toys across the house, typically laughing while doing so.

I just realized I should mention that in the above pictures, Jason got himself into those positions. I'd turn around for 1 second, and in the next second he was sitting on top of the book basket or in the art easel. Hence, "Jason's so cute!"

Does your counter look like this too?

We're going on a couple of weeks now of getting over cold viruses, sinus/eye infections, one ear infection, and endless amounts of snot. I feel like half my day consists of administering varying types of medicines to my two boys. I am looking forward to spring break, so Jack can stop picking stuff up at school and passing it onto Jason. Definitely looking forward to warmer, and hopefully healthier, weather.

Slides!

We've had beautiful weather lately with the temperature in the 70's. We get to the park whenever we get a chance, and it's getting more and more fun as Jason is starting to play. He went down the slide alone, and loved it. I figured he'd be apprehensive. In fact, I thought he was terrified, because once he slid down, he let out a loud scream. But once I saw his face, it was obviously a scream of delight as he had this huge grin on his face and furiously tried to crawl up the slide to go again. Check out his electrified hair in the video, it's one of my favorite parts.

After about a dozen slides down the toddler slide, we ventured to let Jack hold Jason going down the big kid slide. Jack was a very good boy and held his baby brother gently. They both loved going down together, evidenced by Jason repeatedly trying to climb up the slide for more. Love it.
