For Halloween this year, Jack dressed as a rock star and Jason as a pirate. They were beyond cute. Jason dressed in Jack's baby pirate costume so it was nostalgic and fun to see the pirate costume on him. Jack's costume was relatively easy, with the right styling, a mohawk, and guitar, he was transformed.
This is taken on our way to the ward's trunk-or-treat, where we regretably took no pictures. It was too cold to think of taking my hands out of my pockets to take pictures.
Halloween night, out trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. Jason was in candy heaven. He got the idea of trick-or-treating after about the third house, and was then running up to strangers begging for more candy. (He is extremely anxious around strangers, so it was funny to behold.) Jack on the other hand, our very sociable & indendent child, said he wanted to go home after the second street. We told him to yell "Trick or Treat!" and he whispered it every single time, after much parental prodding. Both boys were funny to watch.
Our jack-o-lantern....which I carved by myself. Jon had fun chasing Jack with the pumpkin guts though....Jack did not appreciate it.
The boys after trick or treating, examining their haul-
Jason actually ate through candy wrappers to get to the candy while we were out walking.
Jack was super ecstatic with the candy, not wasting any time eating it
